Stone Creek Straps is a one woman operation (with some occasional assistance from my sweet husband). All straps are handmade by me, using only the finest materials and leatherworking techniques.
My goal at Stone Creek is to provide watch lovers with the finest custom exotic and leather straps. In order to achieve a high quality finished product, I take great care to perfect every part of my strapmaking process. My leather is chosen based on its uniqueness, durability and texture. I use only the highest quality exotic and leather hides. All of my American alligator skins come from the southeastern United States, and primarily from farm-raised gators.
I use polyester, braided nylon, and irish linen for stitching. All of my straps are handsewn, using a two-needle saddle-stitch. The edges of my straps are burnished using either edge dye, gum tragacanth or edge kote (depending on the desired finish). In many instances, it is necessary to repeat the burnishing process several times to achieve the desired result.
Every step of my strap-making process is completed by hand with great care and attention to detail. This includes measuring and cutting out every strap, punching the tips, grooving the stitch line, pre-piercing the stitch holes, stitching the strap and finishing the strap edges.

While a strap must be functional, it can be so much more. I hope that you find a Stone Creek Strap that complements your watch, as well as your personality.
